Ovelin was founded in December 2010 by Christoph Thür and Mikko Kaipainen. Ovelin employs a passionate team of business professionals, guitar teachers (and amateurs), game developers, musicians, visual designers, and visionaries. Ovelin has won several business competitions in Europe.
